Just prepare it the night before and let it do its thing and in the morning, you will have a healthy nourishing treat waiting for you in the fridge! For a special treat, serve with homemade coconut whipped cream on top.
Apple Overnight Oats
Servings: 2 servings
Ingredients
- 1 cup gluten free rolled oats
- 1 cup almond or coconut milk
- 1 apple peeled and shredded or finely diced
- ½ cup plain yogurt cashew/coconut non dairy
- ¼ cup chopped walnuts optional
- 1 scoop Truvani protein powder
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- pinch sea salt
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a jar and mix well to combine. Alternatively, you can mix in a medium size bowl and transfer to individual 6-8 oz jars with lids. Place in the refrigerator overnight to set.
