Berry Chia Jam

Materials

  • 2 cup organic frozen berries or fresh
  • 1-2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2-3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup or monk fruit syrup

Instructions

  • Combine the berries and lemon in a sauce pan over low heat.
  • Cover and stir frequently until they start to cook down. Break up the berry lumps as much as possible.
  • Remove from the stove and add the rest of the ingredients
  • Stir/mash until desired consistency.
  • Store in a sealed glass container up to 2 weeks or can immediately.
