How To Cook A Perfect Spaghetti Squash- 2 WAYS!


Whether you decide to cook your spaghetti squash in the oven or in the Instant Pot, it is so easy either way!








How to Cook Spaghetti Squash (INSTANT POT)

Ingredients 

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • 1 cup water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions 
  1. Add the trivet to the IP. Put the lid on and set valve to seal.

  2. Cut squash in half and scoop out the seeds.

  3. Place halves on the trivet. Add water .

  4. Set to pressure cook for 4-5 minutes.

  5. Take squash halves out and turn the open halves face up to cool. Once cool, scoop out strands with a fork.






When I found out you can cook a spaghetti squash in the Instant Pot I was thrilled! No mess, easy clean up and takes only 5 minutes! Seems unreal. But its just as good.






How to Cook Spaghetti Squash (OVEN )


  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • 1/4 cup water 
  • salt and pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F

  2. Cut squash in half and scoop out the seeds. Discard seeds or compost. 

  3. Pour water onto baking sheet. Place halves on the a baking sheet open side facing down. 

  4. Bake in oven for 45-50 minutes depending on size of your squash. 

  5. When done, it will be soft to touch when a fork is inserted in the outer flesh. 

  6. Take squash halves out and turn the open halves face up to cool. Once cool, scoop out strands with a fork.

  7. Store in an airtight container for later use or assemble in a recipe.
