Preheat the oven to 450F.
Make the dairy free version of "buttermilk" by combining the non dairy milk with apple cider vinegar in a small bowl. Let mixture sit for 10 minutes before using.
Line a baking sheet with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, combine all the dry ingredients. Using a pastry cutter, cut in butter until mixture is crumb-like texture. Add in "dairy free buttermilk" and mix with a fork.
Knead the dough in the same bowl, then spread out dough out on baking sheet (about 3/4" thick). Cut into squares.
Bake for 12-14 minutes.
