How to Cook Spaghetti Squash

Ingredients

  • 1 spaghetti squash
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cut the spaghetti squash in half lengthwise so it resembles two boats. Scrape out the inner guts (seeds and stringy material) and drizzle oil, salt and pepper all over the inside.
  • Place on the lined baking sheet with the open sides facing down and roast for 35-45 minutes depending on the size of your squash.
  • You will know when it is done when you stick a fork into it and it feels tender. When done, take out of the oven and face the open halves up and let cool for 10 minutes. Then take a fork and scrape out the squash, it should resemble strands like spaghetti!
